It is also known as 'Heaven Scent' that is simply the specific cultivar name for the Double Tahitian Gardenia (Gardenia taitensis). Both refer to this highly sought-after tropical evergreen shrub that produces huge, 5 to 6-inch creamy-white flowers known for their intoxicating, sweet fragrance.
This tree can grow up to 60 foot tall in the right conditions and when mature keeps blooms all year. These trees are very young and should remain in containers for a few years to be able to ensure optimal environmental conditions. Grows well outdoors in zones 9-11. The scientific name is Cananga odorata.
